Genetic enhancement
We offer genetic enhancement service in two forms, tailored to your specific needs:
- We can overexpress or suppress an existing gene in the wild-type DNA to modify traits like protein content, amino acid profile, or fatty acid composition.
- Alternatively, we can introduce entirely new genes to the BSF DNA, enabling the expression of molecules not naturally present in the species, as we’ve demonstrated with the human insulin gene.

Licensing
Flyblast is offering licenses for its transgenic Black Soldier Fly (BSF) strains to the global insect bioconversion industry.
